Judges’ comment “A fantastic example of complex collaboration across multiple partners”Anglian Water, Aecom and Balfour Beatty have undertaken an innovative initiative to transform the way people-operated plant is managed.

The resulting Managed Service Desk system, introduces cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI)-driven human form recognition (HFR) and digital thumbs-up systems.

Combined with telematics and increased safety features, this is helping the team to identify hazards and reduce accident risks. The introduction of innovative technologies like AI-HFR is a first for the construction industry.
