The British Construction Industry Awards are about recognising and celebrating the achievements of the construction industry in terms of delivering ever more complex or innovative projects.

This year a wide range of projects and initiatives have won awards for their efforts to innovate, cut carbon, improve safety and deliver positive outcomes for local communities and society.

I am pleased to say, the judges did not have an easy time determining the winners, which is a reflection of the high standard of entries.
