New standard for green concrete consulted on

British standards body BSI is consulting on a new standard to assess greener concrete alternatives.

The standard will provide recommendations for testing and monitoring conformity to recommended performance of lower carbon concrete technology not currently covered by British standards. In particular, the consultation aims to collate feedback from industry professionals.
